My BF and I are thinking of visiting some relatives in November in the USA in Houston - I would also like to visit Las Vegas too while we are there for a few days. Are there any crochet 'must visits' while I am in Houston or Vegas?? Any shops that I must go to?? I'm sure BF won't mind toooo much at being dragged around looking at yarns/threads

I don't know about LYS however be sure to stop in a Michael's and Joanne's. While not exciting you will most likely find some nice things.

Haha - I'll be sure to go to Michael's - i discovered them when in Philadelphia - it took me two whole afternoons to get around it (and a LOT of suitcase space!). Not been to a Joannes yet. I did try an ACMoores too Thanks Empress
