Every now and then I am seeing this.. Well..... I am starting to see spaceships with little green men everytime I see this... and I know all of us sort of warp into our own little world while crocheting... but..... ?? :think:think

I have read several posts on different boards and they all seem to use this abbreviation to mean UnFinished Object.

 

I love the creative shorthand terms -- frogging was one that stumped me, until someone explained that to pull out crochet stitches from a project sounded like a frog's "ribbet". :-D

hahaha i went through the frogging thing too... all this online crochet is very new to me.. i have been crocheting and such for years.. but never knew all this online world existed... so I am still learning new terms!

I would like to know what DD stands for. I think I have seen other shorthand but can't think of them right now. But can get confusing if you don't know what is being said

DS= dear son

 

DH= dear husband

 

GS & GD= grandson gradaughter
