Help from the craft fair veterans?

Recommended Posts

Keep plenty of change (1's and 5's)

Have someone with you so if you need to leave the table it is not unattended.

Have bags to put purchased items in.

That's really important!!

Also, be sure to have quite a few items that cost between $1-5 dollars for the kids and such. Some parents will give their children $1-5 dollars so if you have items that are geared towards kids price wise you'll probably do pretty well.

If you put affordable and cute gift baskets together they might sell well too.

I'm a flea-market/craftfair junkie so from a customer's standpoint:

Make sure I can see what you're selling. I'd rather ask you if you have a different colour or size than have to dig through a big pile of stuff.

Really good point!! Also, makes sure things are clearly priced. It's a turn off to a customer when they have to ask what you are charging for something. Of course there are the people that will ask what something is priced at even though there is a tag on it (that gets old).
