The airline seat ate my hook

I lost a size 2 Hero crochet hook (vintage -- when's the last time they manufactured Hero hooks?) on a flight. I thought I put it back in the bag. But I went to resume crocheting and never found it. I have packed another one, but it was in my checked baggage.

That is horrible. Did you call the airlines and see if they found it when they cleaned the airplane?

Definitely, call the airline and see if anyone found it. That hook might be sitting in the lost and found bin just waiting for you to claim it. It's worth a try.

I'll check tomorrow on the return flight but I don't really think they "clean" between flights. I got in the aisle and practically crawled under my seat to look. I saw lots of dust and crumpled kleenex and snacks.

OMG, maybe it ran off with Miss Crochet's hook (she lost one on a flight last year, I think it was). They may be sunning themselves on some lovely beach somewhere, takig a break from all their hard work.

I hate that you lost your hook, MaryPat. However, I got a good chuckle out of the mental picture of two lost hooks lying on a beach somewhere.
