I'm starting my journey into the world of crochet the same way I do every other craft I'm involved in, lots of WIPs! I've got a ripple afghan going for myself, two baby blankets in the works, a ripple scarf that's almost completed and a hat in the planning stages to match. And now I've managed to find another HAVE TO HAVE project!

 

I've already posted this in "Seeking Patterns," but I love this pattern so much I had to pass it along, especially to my fellow "non-traditional" crafters out there!

 

I have a friend who lived in Mexico for a while and loves the tradition of Day of the Dead. She has a whole collection of Catrina items and I found a pattern for a skull purse that I know she'd love. I want to attach a hat to it and feathers because of the traditional artwork. I've included links to the purse and the traditional artwork. I hope you enjoy it!
