Question
mudpie
Thinking about making a child's poncho using this pattern: http://freeknittingpatterns.lionbrand.com/printablePatterns/ccw-childsPoncho.pdf . Why would I want to knit or crochet 2 rectangles and sew them together? Why not crochet along the side of the first rectangle to start the second and then just sew one seam when I'm done? Is there a reason that this would be a bad idea?
