Announcing: Community Ad Grants Program

We are excited to announce a new program at Crochetville called Community Ad Grants, which will award free banner ads to select charities or community projects. The program is open to crochet or fiber-related charities and community projects that comfort or assist those in need, beautify our surroundings, or promote the art of crochet.

Today you will start seeing ads from our first Community Ad Grants awardee: the Milkweed Project, a large-scale collaborative art project comprised of the work of hundreds of fiber artists. All skill levels are invited to create a piece that will become part of a giant milkweed pod art installation. It is being organized by artist Shan Bryan-Hanson who is a Professor of Art at Silver Lake College in Wisconsin. Shan has posted a thread here on Crochetville about the project as well.
