My first comfy hook

I just got the hankering to do one of my steels with the eraser clay that I got for Christmas in July. So, here is the end result...

 

 

I used a size 0 steel that I got on clearance for a whole dollar. Once I had it wrapped I chained 20 or 30 stitches with it, then threw it in the oven. It doesn't look quite like I hoped it would (okay, much at all, though the ends come close) but then again it was my first time using this stuff, so it's not bad.

 

Now I just need a bunch more so I can keep playing

I wanted to try this, I guess now I will. I used some of the Model Magic stuff (no bake) and it came out comfy, just not very attractive.
