Oops, nevermind. I think it was the "single crochet from A to Z"

What other kind of books would everyone recommend? I"m not looks for patterns per say, just some books with stitches and all that jazz.

I second that recommendation too, in the months I've had it I've referred to it several times. I also have a couple of similar ones that are smaller, one with 30 stitches and another with 19, I got one from eBay and the other at Joann's, the 63 one from Wal-mart.

Donna Kooler's Encyclopedia of Crochet also has many stitch combinaitons (but has some patterns too). I checked this one out of the public library, I suggest doing this so you can see several books for yourself before making a final decision.

By the way, here are a couple of websites where you can find instructions for some cool stitch combinations: http://www.************/index.html and http://www.nurhanne.net/filatim/crochet/p1.html. If you haven't joined the Lion Brand site I recommend it, for a long while I didn't want to because I was reluctant to give my address but it has been worth it. They have all kinds of tutorials there that include stitches, borders/edgings, etc.

Also, do searches on Youtube.com, you can find tons of how-to videos, some lead to websites where you can find even more info, all this could actually save you $$.
