Hey kittylou, I made that same bag in green in for a friend last month, but I didn't line it. I love the lining! Okay, I'm a dunce, but how did you actually do the lining? TIA, Patty

I had no idea how to do the lining, so I just kind of made it up as I went along and it turned out just right. I set my purse on top of the black fabric and used my rotary cutter to cut around the outside of the purse to get the bottom of the lining. Then I just measured around the inside and the sides. I added a little extra, maybe an inch, for a seam allowance. Used my quilting tools to measure and cut, then sewed it all together. I measured a rectangle for the pocket, pressed the sides in about 1/4-inch, sewed across the top edge and then just sewed it onto the lining. I slipstitched the lining onto the purse and tacked it down in a few places on the bottom. I figured since it was a lining, it didn't have to be perfect. No one would know unless they looked really closely. Make sense?
