I have been doing charity work for many many years, but I decided this year to branch out a little and doing something different. Several years ago I donated some children's sweaters to our church's humanitarian department that a friend of mine knitted. they were so excited because they need tons of kids sweaters and get very few. Well, I have started crocheting my won sweaters for them. i started with the kids color block cardigan on CPC, but now I have made my own design. I'd post a picture, but the sweater has all ready gone on its way. I'll describe it instead (that's what everyone does for me because I'm blind!)

 

The body is vertivally striped in green and white, the yoke was a solid green, the sleeves were white and I knitted the ribbing in green. I am so excited to design my first child's sweater!
