Tip: How to stop your cat/kitten from getting in your stash

My kittens had a habit of getting in my yarn. My husband found a trick that has almost broken them of the habit. When we see them playing with my yarn or are into something that they should not be we get down to their face level and hiss at them. Like a cat hiss. It works. I had to see it to believe it.

Thanks for the tip. We went with the squirt bottle (on stream) method for training our cat. Of course, for the most part cats are only 'trained' as long as someone is looking.

We use the squirt bottle method too.....and it works not only for the 2 cats, but one of the dogs too!! My older cat has never really been interested in my yarn, but the kitten ....he wants to be in EVERYTHING. He's starting to get better now.....I don't have to actually squirt either one of the cats anymore......I just hold up the bottle and they run
