Did I do Something wrong??

I made one of the kitchen scrubbie things. I used a nylon scrubbie. I really love using it. It was great. In two weeks it fell apart. Did I do something wrong???

What part fell apart? The actual scrubbie or the crocheting?

The scrubbie fell apart. It came unraveled. My crochet was fine. The nylon scrubbie started unraveling from the center.

When you did the initial attaching the yarn to the scrubbie, did you attach to only 1 or 2 strands of the nylon on the scrubbie? I noticed when I was making one recently that if I used only a couple strands of the nylon to attach the yarn, that the nylon was breaking and unraveling so I inserted my hook into 4-5 strands of the nylon. Hope this makes some sense to you.

It makes sense. I'll have to try it next time. Can you wash these in the machine?

I don't think I would in a washing machine but possibly on the top shelf in your dishwasher.
