Stitch N Pitch: Arizona Diamondbacks

It was last Sunday, the 24th. DH and I saved up a long time and bought tickets to go up with the LYS rented bus. Then days before the trip to Phoenix, we all learned there were NO wheelchair seats in the section the park reserved for people doing Stitch N Pitch.

 

I was so furious. And so, we didn't go. I didn't want to sit in timbuktu a mile away from any other crafters just because I use a chair. The LYS was kind enough to pick up our goodie bags and gave them to us on Monday. Neat stuff! I think I'll wear the DBacks SNP shirt today.

 

I'd really wanted to meet Candy as well since she was traveling up there, but we're figuring for another time to visit.

It sounds like they weren't thinking very carefully about access. I'm glad you got your goody bag, anyway. They should have refunded your money.
