don't quite understand

Hello Ladies!,I'm not too sure what this means, some of the pattern read's as follow's..2dc in each chain -2sp across? it's the 2sp that's got me fuddled..thank you... Leen <img border=0 src="http://img28.photobucket.com/albums/v84/crochetville/banghead.gif" />

the row that you are crocheting into (the one you just completed) should have areas that are 2 chains.. then something (dc) then 2 chains.... then something (dc)

 

the instructions are telling you to crochet 2 double crochets into each of the chain 2 spaces all the way across your project til the end of the row.

 

make sense?

i felt like a pro until this post. i guess i am going to have do a pattern like that to actually get. i'm a visual person. or should i say a hands on visual person. i just gotta have something in my hands to look at.
