Whoo Hoo! I finally gave in and ordered some books and some yarn from KnitPicks. They had been running a 40% off on book sale for a little while and it had been tempting me! LOL

I did'nt take a picture but here are links to the books I got:

One skein wonders. There are some crochet patterns in this too!

The Great American Afghan. I'm not sure when I'll ever start this....but I have been lusting after this pattern for a long time.

And last but not least....Selbuvottor. This is going to be my fall project. I really want to learn how to knit these mittens. They look a little intimidating, but I think I can do it!

I also bought 2 skeins of Bare to try my hand at kool aide dying, and 4 skeins of Pallete yarn to make the mittens....

These projects have to wait until after crochet olympics.....darn!

I always want the Great American Afghan booklet. Will you get other books in same collection ? I am aware of other two or three booklets in this series.

I have been eyeing the great american aran afghan pattern also. I thought I would start with this one first....but, like I said before....I may never make this. I just love to collect patterns! LOL!

I have that pattern! It's beautiful. I started it a few years ago when I first started knitting and had to put it aside, some of the patterns where pretty complicated. My skills have greatly improved since then, I should try it again. On the down side I will have to buy more yarn, I ended up using what I bought for other things.
