Not a rant just curious

I was just in one of the 2 Michaels nearby today. They had put a ton of yarn on clearance about a month ago and are now in the process of getting some newer yarns in (mostly Coats and Clark brands). The new Candi Jensen Designer Sport, the Heart and Sole sock yarn and RH Collage stick out in my mind. Maybe some of the stores are preparing for the new stock... I dunno

The yarn selection seems to depend on the area. My mother loves coming to visit me because the LI and Queens stores never have as large a selection as the Michaels and Joanns here in the Detroit suburbs. Probably some "marketing genius" decides which areas get more yarn than others.
