Chrochet Tips and Techniques

I just received this book in the mail from House of White Birches and I have to say it is a keeper.

 

Did anyone else receive it?

please do tell me what kind of stuff it has in it and how much was it? maybe that would help me help my mom learn the craft that i love so much!!

Well it has the basic "how to crochet" at the back of the book but each section has a special technique or stitch. There are stiches that look like knitting, there is a section for embelishments and borders, there is one for "punch crochet" which is a technique of working with fabric and crochet. There is wavy crochet in this book as well as Fillet.

 

I think the book is either 30 or 40 dollars (I haven't even opened the bill).

I also have this book and love it for the new techniques and pattern stitches.
