Good-bye Tucson Wal-Mart yarn

My husband just called from Wal-Mart. Last week the big beautiful craft department was fully stocked and now there is no craft department whatsoever. I needed more RHSS Aspen Print for his afghan. We discovered just last week their everyday yarn price was better than JoAnn's and Michael's sale prices--WAY better. (1-lb cones of Sugar N Cream for 6.24!)

 

I can get the RHSS elsewhere, but dang. So much for that.

what a disappointment...they didn't even let it 'phase out'...strange

That's what surprises me. I would have expected a sale or something. If not a sale, then partially empty shelves last while we were there. Absolutely everything was fully stocked as if an employee had just done it.

 

DH texted that he just raided JoAnn's. He's afraid something else will happen LOL. I'm sure JoAnn's won't go under! Hope I didn't just jinx it. I'm afraid to see how much he bought.
