what can i do with these rings?

I saw a checkerboard pattern once that used those rings. What you did, was either in red or black, sc around all the way. Then, you have your piece to move. You would need a few more though. You could make a tic-tac-toe board though, and use those as pieces. Then, make a small drawstring purse to hold them in, and a simple sc square, about 14" square, and then top stitch lines, and you've got a great portable game for in the car for the kids. The rings could all be o's, but some in one color, and the others in another color.

 

There are some neat ideas here, that I'll have to try too!

I have seen these made into a necklace and it is nice. Yarn or thread will work.

 

Towel things are great. I make the ring part and then crochet a long piece to wrap around the drawer or stove handle and then add button hole and button. As much as I change my kitchen towels these work SUPER adn are super fast. The towels fits into the ring part and wa-la changes great and don't have to wash that part as often as the actual towel.
