Philadelphia crocheters

I'm looking to meet other crocheters in Philadelphia. I'm in the Fishtown - Kensington area of the city but I don't mind traveling a bit. I'm not free at all Mon & Wed or during the day on Thurs. The rest of the week , anytime.

Try http://www.meetup.com for possible groups. I live in South Philly and found a lovely group that meets twice/week on Tues 6-9 and Sun 3-6 at a LYS called Nangellini at 832 South Street. By SEPTA, you'd take the Market-Frankford Line to 8th St. and catch the 47 bus southbound.

 

I wouldn't mind getting together at other times as well, but that's a sizable group that's easy to find. It is, unfortunately, also an opportunity to add to the stash. The owner likes funky fibers.

I actually know Nancy, she was a member of another group I belonged to, philly crochet. I didn't know that they met on Sunday also. I think I'm looking for something a little less organized, But I'' think about this group.
