I think it's great that they're going to do this, but from what I've seen so far, it's not really clear whether it's going to be any easier for people new to blogging to set one up that way instead of using Blogger. My impression is that they will have to find their own host, then download the blog software and set it up. I also wonder if the software has a Mac version.

 

Considering the number of crochet blogs already in existence, I don't see that there's really any shortage, compared to knitting blogs. But any encouragement for crocheters has to be good.
