This sock pattern is so fun to knit!

I found some sock yarn in my stash that I had forgotten I had...and I decided I wanted to try something different. I looked through all my sock books and found a really cute pattern in "Knit Socks: Whatever the Yarn'' by Edie Eckman.

 

This stitch is so easy....but it really looks cool...especially with the variegated bright pastel yarn I'm using. And it's just a blast to knit!

 

 

I can't wait to finish this pair of socks....the criss-cross pattern made from knitting under elongated stitches on a prior row just looks SO cute.

 

If any of you have this book in your pattern stash, you gotta try this pattern!

It's got 5 really cute ankle sock patterns in it. The patterns are adjusted for 3 sizes of yarn.
