First Tote Bag

I put all the pockets on there, because the bag I was using, didn't have any pockets except one small one INSIDE OF IT. I kept losing my hooks, even with them in the little bright yellow travel case I made (it holds 5 various sized hooks). So, when I pictured the tote, it had lots of pockets, which I messed up just a bit. The ones on the ends are different sizes on purpose. Some of the pockets on the sides are slightly larger/smaller than the others which was a bit frustrating. Oh well, it happens. I did my best to sew them on in an even matter, but I think I misjudged it a bit and they were almost too big to do that way. Oh well, live and learn. The first ones could always use work. The next ones will be better.

 

Oh and the color combination is growing on me.

Not ugly at all. I love it! I also have a bag addiction ( working on three right now). Your pattern gave me a great idea. I want to make a smaller size, add some pockets in the inside and use it as a makeup bag.
