A project for the county Fair.

I just received from Maggies's crochet this darling pattern for an afghan. It's called "Hibernatin in Style" and it's three bears, Mama, Papa and Baby, snuggled up in a bed made out of granny squares.

 

I will be making it out of my stash, and therefore, using bright colors instead of the pastels.

 

It's just so cute. I started making the squares last night.

 

I just think this one may be a winner this year. I sure hope so. Last year, my two afghans didn't even place.

 

But out of 8 projects entered, 3 had first place ribbons and 2 had second place ribbons.

 

I'll post a pic when it's done.
