Spinning Along

Hi All,

 

I'm so happy to find this spinning forum! I have a Kiwi wheel and am spinning silk, alpaca, bamboo and ingeo on it. I'm hoping to crochet a Seraphina Shawl with the silk.

I don't spin either, but it does look like fun.. The yarn looks so soft and beautiful

Ingeo is corn fiber. It spins a lot like wool. I'm going to wash and dry some skeins this weekend and will post some pics next week. :-)

Spinning is a lot of fun! :-) I always have some fiber ready to spin. It's quite addictive. :-) I won't travel without some fiber and either my wheel or a few drop spindles. :-)

I also just got some flax and a distaff. I'm looking forward to spinning it up. :-)
