Starching?

I am making one of the filet names, and I was going to have it framed. They won't frame it unless it is starched. How do I do that? This is my first one and I'm clueless!!

I've always mixed elmers white glue and water until it's thin enought to suit me and then drenched the items needing starching and blocked them. If it's fairly large you could get it damp, block it and then try "painting" it with this mixture. If you don't like the way it comes out you can then wash it out easily.

Good Luck

The elmers glue and water is what I use. You can mix it to any strength you want it. Depending on what you are starching. I always then block it on a plastic covered piece of styrophone(????) with pins.

Best part, is that you can wash it out if you do not like it.

I think they want it starched, then there is no chance of it shifting and getting wrinkled when it is framed.:think
