my niece is a little stinker~~~!

[Knit Happens]

I went shopping yesterday and took her with me....so we could buy yarn and she could choose her own for her new scarf that she was going to crochet, after some refresher time with me. She says...you start it and I'll continue. So I said do you know where your HOOKS are, and she says....of course. So I begin and she says ..."WHAT ARE YOU DOING??????!" like the sky is falling....I said I'm starting it for you, but you're going to have to practice this stitch before you leave....and she answered me....I want to knit it--I remember how to knit; I don't want to go over crocheting. So after I did a two rows she took over. I think she intended to knit it all along! She had made a scarf for herself last year, and her mom claimed it. She can do garter stitch by knitting only...and apparently she knows just what she wants. What a little stinker...she conned me into shopping and picking yarn by the notion she wanted to crochet. Little devil!

i guess on the bright side she atleast has the interest... and she must be pretty clever to know how to get what she wants
