Birmingham, England yarn shops?

I'm going to Birmingham England and am staying new the Birmingham New Street train station.

 

Any good yarn shops near there or within a train stop or two?

 

Is there a particular type of yarn England is famous for? I've heard of Cotswold yarn, but I'm wondering if that's still so celebrated.

I dont know for sure as I dont tend to go into Birmingham but if you go shopping at The Bullring you'll find plenty of big department stores that are likely to have small craft departments. I'm sure John Lewis usually has some supplies!

 

If I need anything though, I tend to buy online or go to Hobbycraft.
