Need HTML button help

I really can't figure this one out. I just put two buttons on my blog. 'Ray for me! My very first ones. The first one is showing the opening bracket, which pushes it out of line with the second one. There isn't any extra bracket in the code, so I don't know why this is happening. Any suggestions? My blog link is below if someone would care to check.

 

Much thanks. It's a very little annoyance, but one I'd like to get rid of.

You beat me to it. I looked at the source instead of the template (easier to read) and found it. I was looking in the wrong place. Much thanks.

 

Now I have to figure out why the space between the buttons went away. HTML is such a pain.

ain't that the truth! when I was a webmaster for the history/poli sci/international relations departments at my college I would spend HOURS trying to find one mistake...
