HL in Avondale, AZ

Hey fellow 'Zonies, anyone check out the new Hobby Lobby in Avondale? I just saw it listed on the HL website. Is it worth a trip up from Tucson? Thanks, Patty

I havent been to the HL in Avondale, but I know several people who have. They all reported that it was disappointing, and not like the HL's they have back east. As for coming up from Tucson, you could make a day trip and hit a couple of our yarn shops!

I have been to the HL in Avondale. I was not impressed with the yarn selection. However, I have been able to get a few things there that I could not get at Jo-Ann's or Walmart. Do I think it's worth the drive from Tucson? No. If you were up in this area for another reason, or even yarn store shopping, then, yes, I would stop by.

I to have been there not impressed with the selection they had at all basic colors limited supply worth a trip i would say no IMO
