Question
Ted
I am making an afghan for my 9 year old son. I am using a navy blue cotton yarn made by Plymouth Yarn. I bought all the shop had but that was only 8 skeins at 140 yards each. I am doing a half double crochet stitch. I have used 4 skeins and the afghan is 54 inches by 12 inches laid out flat. If I pull the width out I can get it to about 16 inches wide. I don't think that it will stay like that so here is the idea I have please let me know if you think it will work or not.
I was going to edge the afghan with a burgundy now I think that I will slip stitch the around the vertical post that you see if you pull on the top and bottom of the stitch. Will this fill in the space and make the afghan wider or will it just relax and be thicker?
