DIY dyeing episonde

Did anyone else see the episode of Knitty Gritty where they did their own dyeing? It was on sometime in the last week or two. I have a dvr and I just sat down last night to watch some of the shows I had recorded....Anyway....It was a great episode. They showed how to dye your yarn to get a self striping effect. Here is the link to the show. I NEED to make one of those boards to get the self-striping effect shown!
