What size is best . . .

. . . for a baby blanket? I just finished one that came out 34x35. I'm not sure I like the shape of it. But I can't go get more yarn right now, and the baby shower is this Wednesday. I usually make them as rectangles. About 35x50(or60).

 

Do you think that's a good size?

Seems to me that it would be a good size for a newborn blanket. You don't want too large a blanket on a newborn, they get lost in them. You can always make a larger blanket after the baby arrives and the weather gets colder. In the meantime, I think the receiving blanket size is good.

Sounds like a good size for a stroller or carseat blanket. Nowadays they suggest not putting children in snowsuits, but covering them with blankets after the carseat is buckled around them.
