Questions about Cebelia Garnet and Opera Claret

Hi everyone! I’m looking for a size 10 thread in a rich burgundy and I was wondering if anyone has used Cebelia’s Garnet and Opera’s Claret or seen them offline. If you have, how would you describe the color(s)? Are these samples fairly accurate?

I'd like to use something a bit on the brown side of burgundy, rather than the rosy side, if that makes sense...

 

Thanks in advance for your help! It can be really hard choosing colors based solely on pictures.

I have used both colors before. To me they are more of a red than a Burgundy. If I want a deep burgandy than I normally go with the Royale Burgandy. The thread isn't quite as nice, but the color is richer.

I'm comparing my ball of Cebelia Garnet to the samples, and I'd have to say they don't match at all. But then, every monitor shows colors differently.

 

The samples are browner; the real thing is a rich rich dark red.
