Hi, I'm not sure exactly what rust-proof pins are.

Can you get them at big chains, such as Joann's or Michaels?

I use the long ones with the plastic balls on top. You can get a 100 pack at Walmart for a dollar and change.

I use corsage or bouttoniere pins. (I used to do a lot of floral design) They are definitely rust proof. If you know a florist or have one close by, ask about obtaining a box of one or the other. They cost more than the kind you get at Walmart but you tend to keep them around a lot longer.

The heads on the corsage pins are nice and big and don't hurt your fingers if you have a lot to block.

All the ones that say rust-proof are stainless steel.
