i need someone w/html knowledge

to help me set up a blog for a friend. i've made the graphics but have no idea how to set it up for her. I tried going into the template and just playing around changing things to see what happened but at this rate it would take me months. I hope someone here has the knowledge I lack and is willing to help!

What blogging service are you trying to use? I have certification in web development--might as well do something with the degree I've earned.
