Question
hookdonU
The pattern designer for this stole may be on Crochetville since it is titled Crochetville Swap Stole.
I'm doing this pattern but it doesn't seem to make sense. Reason being, the pattern repeat is 3 dc, ch 1 and so forth. Doing 7 dc, sk 3 stitches, 7 dc looks huge compared to the pattern end even when using a smaller hook. It seems that I should be doing the same type of pattern repeat on all sides for continuity. Please take a look and offer some suggestions - I am at wit's end with this thing! I have not YET done a sc row 1st to make the edging easier to attach.
Here is a link to the pattern:

The other thing I can't figure out is if I wanted to edge the 3 straight sides how many stitches would I put in the corner?
Please help ASAP as this project is on hold until I get this figured out and I will like to present it at my prayer shawl meeting tomorrow evening. Thanks!!!
