dying w/kool-aid

i have question about dying with kool aid. is it only the powder packs of it or can u use the already made bottles of it? i have tons of premade stuff just not powder. and do u have to use vinegar? thanks so much for any help

I've never tried anything but the powder. Technically, the citric acid in the powder should be enough, but I always add a splash of vinegar anyway. I suspect the premade wouldn't be as good because it has sugar and such in it.
