2 " styrofoam bells shapes

I am so upset, I went to three different craft stores today looking for 2" styrofoam bell shapes. Last year I bought them at JoAnn's but this year they don't carry them, neither does Michaels or my local craft supply store. Does anyone know any place that may carry some? I made up some bells thinking I still had some from last year but they are MIA. Now I am not sure how to form the bells to stiffen them.

One pattern I have says you can stiffen over a plastic bell from the wedding dept at the craft store. Did you try that?
