R1: 2 SC TOG, *2 SC TOG, inserting hook into same ch as last st, then into next ch, repeat from * to end, turn.

 

R2: 1 CH, 2 SC TOG, *2 SC TOG, *inserting hook into same place as last stitch, then into next 2 sc tog, repeat from *, working last insertion in 1 ch, turn.

 

Repeat row 2.

 

 

If this is a decrease, why don't they just call it that? They talk about decreases earlier in the book.......
