Hello...I need some help. I am trying to make the winged hair kerchief found in the original pattern section

I am having trouble with the edging...it just doesn't look right....not making the triangle shape. I was wondering if anyone could help with different idea's for edging? Thanks a bunch!

I tried a little sample (my hat's off to you for doing all those bullion stitches!!). I think the edging would look a little more triangle-y if you replaced the chain 1 between the shells with a sc or slip stitch into the top of the bullion stitch in the row below. This makes the valleys deeper instead of hanging in the air.
