Question
The Shrone
I'd like to make the Lion Brand Martha poncho for my nieces, ages 8 and 6.
Has anyone reduced the pattern to fit a child, and if so, what amount of starting stitches did you use? I hate playing with stitch gauge, but realize I'm gonna have to do it. I was also wondering if using a smaller hook would also help with reducing the size...I notice the pattern calls for a size N hook.
Any thoughts, suggestions, words of experience?
Thanks!
~ Lori
