how do I edge this?

Hello!

I have this afghan that I'm working on, and yes it's an easy one but I don't have any directions and I don't know how to edge it. I know I have to loop the chains and pull it together, but, how do I edge? Do I edge til I get to the chains then pull them up, or..?

Bev recommends a fringe on the top and bottom edges

Or you can crochet chain loops on the top and bottom edges> I just used that with a shawl and it was a hit at the sewing circle.
