HELP! Cable stitch

Mary Jo gave me this tutorial site. http://www.medidit.com/instrct/cable.htm And I was doing fine until a certain point. Now I don't know what to do! Help Please!

Are the pictures lined up right? If it's going Left Top, Right Top, Left Middle Right middle, it's not making sense after the third picture. I've gotten as far as Twisting the hook to pick up the three dropped stitches (Under the pictures) And then knitting the remaining three stitches. But Repeat rows 1 and 2 of knit stitch twice!?! That doesn't make sense! I tried it and it doesn't work out. And then how in the world do you finish the cable? I hope someone can help me here. I don't know what else to do!

do you redo the first "cable step" only dropping the middle section to the back in stead of the front?

Did you try the other web site? I was reluctant to give you this one, as I had trouble doing it myself.
