has anyone seen pan's labyrinth? i swear on my hooks that mercedes' shawl is crocheted.

 

it's a two toned green shawl - looks alike fan stitch of some type. heavenly.

 

i just might have to make one...

You know, I do remember staring at that shawl, wondering if it was crocheted, also thinking I'd have to make one myself.

I don't remember the shawl, but I did see the movie. It was a little too brutal for my taste.

That it was. I was COMPLETELY unprepared for the amount of gore it contained.

yes the movie was brutal, but it had a reason. (i'm currently writing a paper for my senior portfolio on the movie) the contrast between realities - it makes you want the fairytale world as much as ofelia wants it. that's ofelia the little girl and not the crocheter.
