Sc in next loop?

Hello! I am working on this doily pattern. I'm stuck on round 11, where it says "ch 9, sc in next loop, ch 7, sc in next loop; ch 9" Is there a particular loop they are talking about when they say "next loop?" Because all that is below my chain of 9 to loop in is more chain and the point of a petal. If anyone could help I'd be grateful. (hopefully I explained this coherently.)

Just reading this quickly. You are placing a sc into the loop that has been made by the 11ch on either side of the petals. Hope this helps

'The loop' is the chain space below where you're working.
