Hi I'm not sure if this is possible but i need to alter a crochet swimsuit that is too large...is it possible to alter crochet? thanks!

is it crocheted alone or is it steeked (crocheted then sewn)?

are you meaning alter a store bought one or a pattern, if it is just a pattern that should be pretty easy just go down a hook size or 2 and possibly go down one yarn weight. if its a store bought thats a whole other league and it would be like altering any other store bought garment, not may of them leave too much fabric/room to play with the design
