Pattern help please

hiptobeme

Question

Im trying to make the leg on Winnie the Pooh from Leisure Arts and Im not sure what the instructions are telling me. Im still pretty new to crochet so reading patterns are a little tricky for me.Without posting the patten, the pattern basically says on one row scX then the next row scA ssB( a+b=X)

Now the next row you will ssX again but am I sc in the ss which will bring my work forward like or am I sc in the stitches above the ss exposing stitches on the row below? :help

Omg I tried it over and over sent an email to leisure arts and got the instructions explained better but haven't tried it again. It was so incredibly:thair :confused to me that I never want to see that pattern again. Hopefully someone can help you. I'm just glad to know it wasn't just me:hug

Hmmm I guess Ill try and e-mail them.

Has anyone done any pattern similiar tho?I imagine that it would be to go under the ss , otherwise you would have the stitches showing up on the side of the leg??
