thread holder hint

this is just my way of controlling "runaway" balls of thread - i use a plastic paper towel holder from the discount store, the type that sits on the counter/table, the thread just slips right over the pole, i can sit it on the floor or wherever, thread stays in place!

The free-standing toilet paper holders work great also. The kind that sits on the floor and is movable. That's what I use. Plus it sits on the floor and you can move it around easily. Just make sure you get one that holds the larger rolls. Some of the fancier ones have a smaller space where the toilet paper goes. The larger spaced ones will even hold the larger balls of thread.
